Basics: Of all the Groups, bears tend to be the smallest and most secretive of the lot. Typically bears stick to a family size of 7 or less per group and tend to be Matriarchal in their leadership, though in rare cases a male can lead. Bears also have the nickname of the gentle giants of the group, tending to have the calmest of all the groups, next to the leopards. However, in their Beast form, they are the most intimidating. Bears have a medium range of infection, similar to the Hyena. However, given their Beast’s size, it is rare to ever see a wound by a bear that is ‘just a scratch’.
Bond: Similar to the Leopards, a bear when bonding, ‘hugs’ when in their Shifted form. To an outside, it looks like two large bears rolling on the floor, but to those that feel the metaphysical, the bears are playfully wrestling the other metaphysically. This isn’t meant to be a violent act and when violence is brought into the hug, the bond is broken. An Ursa, once she has hugged all can call bears to such a calming moment when such is needed to maintain order. In effect, making her the best of the bear huggers.
